The Opportunity & School Profile
This selective Independent School which includes a Sixth Form requires an experienced Drama Teacher for a Temporary Part-Time contract. The school needs an expert capable of leading performance and technical instruction and driving high academic attainment in examination Drama from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level.
Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope
- Stage Director: Instructing Drama across Key Stage 3 up to Sixth Form (A-Level) proportionate to the teaching fraction.
- Performance Coach: Cultivating expressive performance skills and complex textual analysis.
- Production Assistant: Assisting with school productions and ensemble work.
Compensation & Benefits
- Requirements: Relevant Degree in Drama/Theatre Studies and QTS. Experience teaching Drama to A-Level is essential.
