This Outstanding Ofsted school which includes a Sixth Form seeks a skilled Physical Education (PE) teacher (ECT Support) to join its Sports faculty. The school requires a specialist capable of delivering a high-quality practical curriculum and assisting with the coaching of competitive sports teams offering excellent resources for your ECT development.
Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope
- Athletic Specialist: Instructing Physical Education (Practical and Theory) across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only.
- Team Coach: Driving high engagement by coaching school teams (e.g. Netball Rugby Football) for competitive fixtures.
- Well-being Champion: Contributing to the overall physical well-being and extra-curricular sporting life of the school.
Compensation & Benefits
- Requirements: Hold or be soon to obtain QTS. Relevant Degree in Sports Science or P.E.
- Salary: Excellent salary paid on the national Teachers Pay Scale (M/UPS).
