A fantastic opportunity for an inspiring and knowledgeable Science specialist to join a prestigious Independent School in Berkshire.

Job Overview
The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their highly successful Science Faculty from January 2026 (or earlier for the right candidate). This full-time permanent position involves teaching Science across KS3KS4 with KS5 teaching available depending on experience and specialism.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about scientific learning confident in delivering both theory and practical lessons and keen to contribute to the wider academic and pastoral life of the school.

About the Role
Teaching Science across KS3KS4 (KS5 available for strong candidates)
Delivering engaging challenging and enquiry-driven lessons
Using practical experiments to deepen scientific understanding
Supporting students with assessments coursework and exam preparation
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental collaboration
Participating in wider school life enrichment activities and pastoral responsibilities

Experience & Qualifications
Degree in a Science discipline
PGCE with QTS (or international equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge and practical teaching skills
Ability to inspire curiosity and a love of scientific exploration
Excellent communication organisation and professionalism

Salary
Competitive Independent School salary scale dependent on experience.
