About the role
The Primary Teacher will design ambitious sequences assess learning to inform next steps run focused interventions and support wider school priorities. The Primary Teacher will collaborate with colleagues across phases lead enrichment activities and contribute to whole-school improvement across Coventry.

Main duties

• Plan and teach high-quality lessons that promote knowledge acquisition skill development and independent learning.
• Deliver targeted interventions monitor their impact and adapt provision to secure progress.
• Contribute to moderation curriculum mapping and CPD to raise standards school-wide in Coventry.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and external partners to support pupils learning journeys.
• Support whole-school events trips and transition work to enhance pupils curricular experiences.

Person specification

• Qualified teacher with recent primary classroom experience and evidence of positive impact as a Primary Teacher.
• Strong planning assessment and classroom-management skills and a collaborative reflective approach.
• Enthusiastic about working in Coventry and available to commence January 2026 with attendance at induction before January 2026.
