The appointed teacher will teach Music across KS3KS5 supporting students in developing strong performance technique theoretical understanding composition skills and ensemble musicianship. The department prides itself on its vibrant extracurricular programme including choirs orchestras chamber groups jazz ensembles and annual concerts.
You will contribute to classroom teaching ensemble leadership instrumental coaching and whole-school musical events. Candidates with strengths in composition choral direction or instrumental specialisms are particularly encouraged to apply.
Experience and Qualifications
QTS/PGCE and a degree in Music or related discipline
Ability to teach Music at GCSE and A-Level
Strong performance or composition expertise
Experience directing ensembles is highly desirable
