Job Title: Pega Developer (Banking Domain)
Location: Onsite Toronto Ontario
Duration: 6 12 Months (Contract)
Work Type: 100% Onsite (No Remote Option)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pega Developer (6 12 years) to join our development team for a major enterprise implementation. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Pega application design and development excellent understanding of Pega frameworks and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams to build scalable BPM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop configure and implement Pega applications and components based on business requirements.
- Analyze troubleshoot and optimize existing Pega applications and integrations.
- Work closely with business analysts and architects to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop reusable Pega rules and components including flows case types activities data transforms integrations UI components decision rules and reports.
- Integrate Pega with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs connectors and data sources.
- Participate in sprint planning grooming code reviews and production deployments.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and Pega best practices.
- Provide support in performance tuning system stabilization and defect resolution.
- Produce technical documentation including design documents deployment guides and unit test results.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 12 years of total IT experience with a minimum of 5 years in Pega PRPC design and development.
- Strong hands-on experience building end-to-end Pega applications (UI workflows rules case management integrations).
- Experience with Pega 8.x platform (preferred) or later.
- Solid understanding of Pega frameworks and rule management including rule resolution inheritance and reuse.
- Proven development experience across:
- Flow Rules & Case Management
- Activities Data Pages Data Transformations
- Declarative Rules Decision Tables/Trees Reports
- Authentication & Authorization (Access Groups Roles)
- REST/SOAP Integrations
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pega CSA / CSSA / CLSA Certification(s) strongly preferred.
- Production support and performance tuning experience.
