Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technician is responsible for performing lymphoscintigraphy studies and providing patient care within an acute care hospital setting. This role requires weekday and weekend call coverage as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Location:Santa Monica California United States
Responsibilities:
- Perform lymphoscintigraphy studies.
- Provide direct patient care.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Answer phone calls and direct them accordingly.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Coordinate equipment/supply needs.
- Assist in emergency situations.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technician
- Ability to perform lymphoscintigraphy studies
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- N/A
Special Considerations:
- Weekend availability is required.
- Call coverage is required.
Scheduling:
- Monday-Friday work schedule.
- Rotating call coverage on Saturdays Sundays and Holidays.
- Weekday call starts at the end of the shift and ends at 11pm.
- Weekend/Holiday call is from 7am-11pm.
