Job Summary

Environmental Compliance & Auditing

Technical & Regulatory Compliance Audits: Conduct comprehensive technical audits related to the Environment to identify gaps and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Vendor Audits for Hazardous Waste Disposal: Carry out detailed audits of all parties and vendors involved in the disposal of hazardous waste to ensure strict adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Legal Compliance of Waste Disposal: Audit hazardous waste disposal parties to ensure operations are legally correct and compliant with environmental regulations.
Site Compliance Assessment: Assess site compliance with environmental regulations and standards to ensure adherence to all legal and procedural requirements.
Government Liaison: Maintain close coordination with government authorities regarding environment-related matters such as Environmental Clearance (EC) Consent to Operate (CTO) etc.

Operational Management & Monitoring

Equipment Inspection and Monitoring: Inspect equipment and monitor operational conditions meters and gauges to assess load requirements and identify any potential malfunctions.
Effluent & Solid Waste Management: Manage the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and solid waste handling operations.
SOP Review and Adherence: Review and update existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure strict compliance across all operations.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret data related to environmental performance and conditions.

System Improvement & Advisory

Environmental Procedures and Implementation: Advise on and implement environmental procedures in accordance with legal requirements and related regulations to maintain compliance and best practices.
Technical Advisory: Serve as technical advisors on environmental issues policies procedures and standards providing expert guidance as needed.
Environmental Impact Evaluation (EIE): Evaluate the environmental impact of projects and recommend strategies for cleanup reclamation and waste management ensuring proper implementation.
System Evaluation and Improvement: Evaluate current systems to design innovative ways to improve or replace existing systems and procedures enhancing overall efficiency and compliance.
Development of Technical Solutions: Design develop test and implement technical solutions aimed at reducing the organizations environmental footprint and improving overall sustainability.
