Provides quality care to patients. Assists with Interventional Radiology procedures proficiently with various physician types Interventional Radiologists Vascular Surgeons Neurosurgeons) to achieve desired outcomes. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas. Brings ideas of improvement to the attention of Management.
Plans coordinates and ensures quality care is provided to patients in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Department. Assists Interventional Radiologists Vascular Surgeons Neurosurgeons and Diagnostic Imaging RNs to achieve desired outcomes in IR. Provides guidance and participates in the development and growth of the IR department. Contributes to the development and training of IR Technologists. Contributes to operational processes in IR which include but not limited to patient schedule management IR supply oversight environment of care Department of Health Joint Commission inspections Radiation Safety Dosimetry and policy development
