Summary
Client is seeking an experienced HRIS Solution Architect to serve as the custodian of our Dayforce platform responsible for both Build (Projects) and Run (Support) activities. This role will ensure the HRIS ecosystem is optimized scalable and aligned with business needs driving digital transformation across HR processes. This role serves as the primary product owner for the HR business unit working with HR functional teams and the partners to drive optimization. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence digital transformation and business outcomes through robust HR information system solutions. This role is critical in fostering a data-driven culture enabling change management and ensuring high availability performance and compliance across the HRIS landscape.
- A Dayforce SME who can own the platform end-to-end-architecture build enhancements upgrades integrations and governance.
- Someone who has done both project work (new modules feature buildouts) and run/support work (tickets break/fix security data integrity).
- Strong stakeholder-facing communicator who can partner with HR leadership business IT and vendors serving as the internal product owner.
- Experience driving HR process optimization automation and digital transformation while ensuring system stability scalability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
System Ownership & Governance
- Act as the primary owner of the Dayforce platform ensuring stability compliance and performance.
- Define and enforce HRIS governance standards security protocols and data integrity measures.
Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead design decisions for new functionality integrations and enhancements.
- Ensure sustainable architecture aligned with best practices and future scalability.
Build (Projects)
- Manage end-to-end HRIS projects including requirements gathering configuration testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with HR IT and vendors to deliver system upgrades and new modules.
Run (Support)
- Oversee day-to-day operations including incident resolution change requests and user support.
- Maintain system documentation training materials and knowledge base.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Dayforce and other vendors to ensure accountability and timely delivery.
- Engage with HR leadership and business stakeholders to align system capabilities with organizational goals.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Stay current on HR technology trends and recommend innovative solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Human Resources or related field.
- 7 years of experience in HRIS management with at least 3 years in Dayforce.
- Strong understanding of HR processes (Payroll Benefits Talent Management Compliance).
- Proven experience in system configuration integration and lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- HRIS certifications (Dayforce or similar).
- Experience in solution architecture and enterprise HR technology strategy.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and change management practices.
- Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools.
