About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented NPD Intern to support our New Product Development team. This role offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end product development process from concept ideation to launch. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D Marketing Supply Chain and Design to bring innovative products to market in the beauty & personal care space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in market research trend analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify new product opportunities.
- Support in concept development by collecting insights on ingredients packaging and consumer preferences.
- Coordinate with vendors suppliers and internal teams for sampling packaging and formulation trials.
- Track timelines and maintain project documentation for multiple product development initiatives.
- Assist in product testing feedback collection and quality checks.
- Work on presentations reports and product briefs for leadership reviews.
- Support in preparing launch collaterals and coordination for go-to-market readiness.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interest in beauty cosmetics skincare or FMCG industries.
- Excellent research analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word); knowledge of design/research tools is a plus.
Qualification:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Marketing Cosmetics Technology Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Prior internship experience in FMCG/Beauty/Consumer Goods will be an added advantage.
While this internship is for a fixed period outstanding interns may be considered for full-time positions based on performance and availability or the requirements within the company. We encourage you to demonstrate your skills and dedication throughout your time with us.
