A leading Medical Business Insurance company is seeking a Senior Underwriter to join our Johannesburg team (Hybrid: 2 days In-office).

The Role:

Youll support the Underwriting Team Leader in managing underwriting functions conducting assessments preparing quotations and ensuring accurate policy administration. This is a full-time permanent hybrid role offering a market-related salary.

Requirements:

Matric / Senior Certificate Insurance qualification
RE5 certification (required)***
3 years experience in underwriting exposure in medical insurance would be first prize
Strong organisational communication and time management skills
Prior experience in medical malpractice or liability insurance is advantageous
Detail-oriented resilient and a collaborative team player
