Role Overview
The Head of School / Director will oversee the strategic academic operational and cultural leadership of the school. This role requires a forward-thinking leader capable of raising standards strengthening organisational systems and maintaining a thriving inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement long-term vision; lead school improvement initiatives; ensure sustainable growth and high standards.
- Academic & Operational Management: Oversee curriculum delivery teaching quality assessment safeguarding policies budgeting staffing and daily operations.
- Staff Leadership & Development: Recruit and develop staff; manage performance; foster a positive and collaborative professional culture.
- Community Engagement: Maintain strong communication with parents and stakeholders; build community partnerships; uphold the schools ethos and professional standards.
Requirements
- Significant senior leadership experience in an international or British-curriculum school (e.g. Head of School Principal Headteacher Deputy Head).
- Strong understanding of modern educational standards practices and safeguarding.
- Demonstrated track record of school growth improvement operational leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Culturally sensitive adaptable and able to lead within a diverse community
