Position overview:

The Managing Directoris stronglyfocusedonbusiness development and client Directoris expected to devote roughly70% or more of his or her timeto external market-facing activities such as meetingwith existing and prospective clients networking in the UK&Imobility marketanddeveloping a visible professional profile in the UK&Ibyattending and often speaking atlocal and national immigration events conferences and other venues where thought leaders the business leaderfor both the markets the MD inspires the service delivery team to deliver innovative andaccurateadvise thorough and responsive case-workand attentiveclient service.

On a secondary levelthe MD will ensure that all UK&Iimmigration professionals are expert at all aspects oftheimmigration regulation and able to apply thisexpertiseto achieve clients responsibilitiesrelated to this aspect of the roleinclude but are not limited to:coaching and mentoringemployees in support oftheir professional development;guiding staff on all immigration relatedadvisory mattersto ensure that the highest standards of advice and consultation are provided; and working with colleagues cross-functionally toimplementcompany service delivery Director willworkclosely withother national immigration leaders and members of the companysthreeregional immigration hubsin pursuit of client needs and sharedglobal Managing Directorwillalsocollaborate directlywith the companys executivebusiness administration andfinanceteamsto ensure that alloperationaland financialperformanceobjectivesare achieved.

The Managing Director will have comprehensive experience in corporate immigration with a focus onadvisingnational and multinational companies bringing foreign workers tothe UK& Managing Director willideallyhold aUK law degreeand willhaveextensiveexperience asan immigration practitioner and a business & people experience working with and liaising with Managing Director will haveto bea technical expert on immigration law having experiencebringing foreign workers from diverse industriestothe UKand Ireland. It is expected that the MD will personally engage with Newland Chases largest prospects and clients to directly provide advice and help forimmigrationstrategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads business development efforts; develops and strengthens relationships with corporations in need of global mobility for business growth and positions the organization competitively within the market.
  • Builds andmaintainsstrong working relationships withthe companys most significant clients and sets similar strategies for his or her teamthrough proactive communication; supports team to resolve client issues and provides solutions.
  • Strengthens relationships with current and prospective clients by networking atindustryeventsandforumsincludingconferences summits and symposiums bothinLondon Dublinand in other locations as as brand ambassador to internal and external constituents potential clients and industry peers.
  • Becomes visible Thought Leaderwithin UK&IImmigration circles through speakingengagementsparticipatesin government and industrypanelsand bywriting and publishing articles on immigration and immigration related topics.
  • Builds a foundation for expert-level knowledge of immigration regulations among consultants resulting in exceptional advisory services for clients.
  • In support with the Operations management team he or shemonitorsservice delivery provided by consultants to existing clientsresultingin immigrationsolutions tailored to meetclient and quality to ensure continuous improvement of service delivery.
  • Responsible for ensuring the successful onboarding and implementation of all new UK&Iclients.
  • Liaises with the companyssenior leadership teamto ensure that revenue metrics are analysed and that theappropriate solutionsand changes are implemented to ensure the success of the for ensuring that the budget is met and that the financial performance for the practicesisat the required level.
  • Partnerswith the companyscompliance andcentre of excellence leadershiptosupporttimelymanagement of case files creating processes that support quality control measures; monitors escalations; ensures data integrity standards of work and document handling.
  • Responsible for local hiring decisions and all related employee performance related responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Lawdegreeorcommensuratepracticalworkexperiencerequired.
  • Tenor more yearsprovidingimmigrationservices to corporate clients in the UK(and ideallythe Republic of Ireland).
  • Deep knowledge of UK immigration regulation with aprovenability to stay abreast of changinglegislationpolicyand of the Irish immigration is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability toachieve revenue growth performance through client acquisitionretentionand development.
  • Strong customer understanding anddemonstratedability to structure service delivery processes to deliver extraordinary client experience.
  • Exceptional communication to articulateregulatory andlegal information in easily understood in verbal communication skills.
  • Experience increatingleadingand problem solving and analytical skills within afast-paced environmentwith competing demands.
  • Self-starter with desire to show ownership and commitment totherole.
  • A leader who fosters an expectation of continuousimprovementand business evolution among staff and team members.
