About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook Food Safety Supervisor to lead our kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety standards. This role is critical to delivering high-quality meals for students and guests supporting a busy residential campus that operates seven days a week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and instructing kitchen staff in daily operations and food preparation.
  • Managing kitchen administration including rosters menu planning stock control and ordering supplies.
  • Preparing and serving meals for students guests and events ensuring food safety compliance.
  • Maintaining hygiene standards and monitoring HACCP processes.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for catering requests and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What Were Looking For

  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification and strong knowledge of food safety practices.
  • Experience in staff supervision rostering and menu planning.
  • Ability to cater for large numbers and meet special dietary requirements.
  • Current Drivers Licence and Working With Children Check (WWCC).
