About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook Food Safety Supervisor to lead our kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety standards. This role is critical to delivering high-quality meals for students and guests supporting a busy residential campus that operates seven days a week.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervising and instructing kitchen staff in daily operations and food preparation.
Managing kitchen administration including rosters menu planning stock control and ordering supplies.
Preparing and serving meals for students guests and events ensuring food safety compliance.
Maintaining hygiene standards and monitoring HACCP processes.
Acting as the first point of contact for catering requests and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What Were Looking For

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
Food Safety Supervisor certification and strong knowledge of food safety practices.
Experience in staff supervision rostering and menu planning.
Ability to cater for large numbers and meet special dietary requirements.
Current Drivers Licence and Working With Children Check (WWCC).
