Raytheon is seeking an Industrial Engineer Intern to provide factory support at our Andover MA Engineers are responsible for Labor Performance Analyses Process and Value Stream Mapping Line Balancing Capacity Planning Manpower Planning Factory Layouts Factory Simulations Strategic Planning Project Management Continuous Improvement and more. What You Will Do:

• Identify throughput constraints by performing capacity simulation what-if scenario analysis
• Drive factory improvement project priorities through the use of analytical tools
• Coordinate factory capability needs for yield improvements and new technology
• Identify and participate in improvement projects to support constraint elimination
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean Principles to include the use of value stream maps line balancing and error proofing
• Support manufacturing objectives for cost quality on time delivery and safety

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Candidate must be enrolled and pursuing a BA BS or Masters degree in the area of Industrial Engineering Systems Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)
• Strong knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Office tools
• Strong ability to work in teams and collaborate with peers and internal customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and effectively multi-task

• Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
• This position is not eligible for relocation assistance
• This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelors (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum entering their (insert Sophomore Junior Senior or Post Grad year) by the start of summer 2026.

• Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance.   The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
