Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Operations
- Oversee managed services for VMware infrastructure (vSphere ESXi vCenter) supporting.
- Manage L1/L2 application support for SON (Self-Organizing Network) and related telecom applications.
- Ensure 247 coverage through global delivery model and shift planning.
- Drive incident problem and change management aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Monitor SLA/KPI compliance (availability MTTR patch compliance backup success).
Governance & Reporting
- Conduct weekly operational reviews monthly service reviews and quarterly business reviews with customer leadership.
- Maintain accurate reporting on SLA performance capacity trends and risk posture.
- Own RACI matrix and ensure clear accountability across teams.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Implement automation for patching monitoring and routine operational tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AIOps and predictive analytics for proactive issue resolution.
- Identify process gaps and lead improvement initiatives to reduce MTTR and enhance efficiency.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with security standards vulnerability management and audit readiness.
- Manage DR readiness and quarterly restore testing for critical systems.
Customer Engagement
- Act as primary SPOC for customer stakeholders.
- Provide consultative guidance on process optimization and future-state architecture.
- Support Strategic initiatives like network modernization and cloud migration readiness.
All you need is...
- 10 years in IT infrastructure operations with 5 years in VMware virtualization.
- Strong understanding of telecom OSS/BSS SON platforms and network operations.
- Proven experience in managed services delivery and global team management.
- Expertise in ITIL processes SLA governance and service reporting.
- Familiarity with automation tools (PowerCLI Ansible) and AIOps GEN-AL platforms.
- Good understanding of cloud /K8s and Azure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
