What to expect in the job
- Maintain clean sanitary and safe environment in and around the workplace
- Maintain and safely operate tools equipment and chemicals
- Clean floors stairways lockers walls and work surfaces within allocated areas
- Dust and wipe down surfaces furniture and fixtures
- Clean and sanitize toilet facilities as per schedule
- Monitor cleaning supplies and request replenishments when necessary
- Ensure the janitorial closet and equipment are kept clean and in good condition
- Carry out any other duties as directed by the Hygiene Manager or Site Technical Manager
This is a full-time permanent role. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a similar environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- Ability to communicate clear instructions
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Problem Solving skills with the ability to provide solutions
- A flexible approach to work with a can-do attitude
