Job Details

  • Plan lead and execute internal assurance reviews and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Support the Head of Internal Assurance to develop and maintain a risk-based compliance monitoring program aligned with FCA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for identified compliance gaps.
  • Conduct regulatory horizon scanning and assess impact of new regulations on business processes.
  • Represent Internal Assurance in internal and external forums building strong stakeholder relationships.

Skills we would love you to have

  • Excellent verbal and written communication including formal report writing for Exec level
  • Influencing persuasion and negotiation capabilities up to the most senior of stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of FCA regulations GDPR and Data Protection Act.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply business pragmatism.
  • Experience in risk and control assessment within a regulated insurance environment.
  • Experience with compliance monitoring frameworks and/or internal audit methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Relevant compliance or audit qualification (e.g. ICA Advance Certificate in Compliance) or equivalent experience or working towards the same.

Salary Attractive salary based on experience car allowance (pay reviews also completed each year)
