Must Haves
- Candidate should have 10 years experience in business analysis and modeling
- 10 years experience in applying business modeling techniques/tools in a way that the developed artifacts can be reused and leveraged for multiple projects

- Business case development and cost-benefit analysis

- Joint Application Development (JAD) facilitation

- Ensure that the artifacts are aligned with the enterprise architecture standards and principles (i.e. GO-ITS 56)
- Good understanding of OPS corporate policy development and communications business processes and general practices
- Good understanding of the components of the Government of Ontarios senior level reporting as it exists today and the types of decision-making tools used such as correspondence communications planning issues/briefing notes FOI requests and financial and HR reporting.
- Experience working on a Document Management System or/and Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) andor Talent Management (TM) or Human Resources Management System (HRMS) would be considered an advantage.

The Senior Business Analysts will work closely with the Business Team Business Architect Systems Architect Technical Architect Development Team and Project Manager to ensure completeness of requirements and full understanding of business expectations. Sr. Business Analyst will generate artifacts that demonstrate how business operations and systems inter-operate within the organization to support new correspondence business this period the Sr. Business Analyst will deliver the following:1. 3. Check Point 012 material
4. Business Process Models
5. Business Scenarios
6. Business Rule Profiles
7. Business Domain/Function Model (breakdown)
8. Business Domain Concept/Class Model
9. System Functional Requirements (including use cases)
10. Supplementary Specifications
11. Other business domain artifacts as per GO-ITS 56 Enterprise Architecture
12. Support the development of Business Architecture
13. Support the completion of the Threat Risk Assessment
14. Support the development of Logical Architecture Artifacts
The Senior Business Analyst will also conduct sessions to verify the artifacts evaluate technologies and create the artifacts that demonstrate how business operations and systems inter-operate within the organization to support new correspondence business processes.
General Skills
- Leads and conducts business analysis to assess clients business problems/opportunities and documents requirements for I&IT solutions.
- Applies re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost-effective service delivery approaches.
- Conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail appropriate to project phases aligning with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology Enterprise Architecture Gating Process and OPS Standard Systems Development Methodologies.
