Job Summary

Manufacturing Program Management Localization Engineer

Description -

What a Manufacturing Program Management Localization Engineer does at HP:

Coordinates activities of internal and outsourced manufacturing partners in support of the worldwide manufacture of a product from new product introduction through end of lifecycle.
Collaborates internal and outsourced manufacturing partners to recommend and implement localization requirements and end packaging process to improve quality and reduce cost
Represents the Manufacturing program management localization team for all phases of larger and more- complex development and manufacturing projects.
SKU BOM (Bill Of Material) management and creation.
Drive sustainability initiatives to meet HP sustainability commitment and goals.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP usually possess:

Bachelors degree in Manufacturing/ Materials/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
0-2 years experience required.
Power BI and dashboard reporting .
Good to have knowledge in AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Python.
Using engineering tools and software packages to test design and evaluate products and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of material properties and hardware and manufacture.
Ability to effectively communicate manufacturing plans proposals and results and negotiate options at management levels.
Knowledge of smart manufacturing technologies and data analytics will be an added advantage.
