Full Stack Software Developer with React, and AWS

Peraton is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Developer to design and build a dynamic web-based application in a React and AWS environment.

Location: On-site Washington DC

Key Responsibilities:

• Design test and develop well-structured efficient and testable web-based software using React AWS Postgres and related technologies.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional applications ensuring reliability through ongoing maintenance testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with customers and technical teams to translate requirements into Epics Features and User Stories for both functional and non-functional needs.
• Support Agile teams in backlog planning work item refinement and story point estimation.
• Define clear acceptance criteria for User Stories and demonstrate completed work to customers at the end of each sprint.
• Apply industry-standard design patterns and best practices to software solutions.
• Implement secure coding standards to safeguard applications and data.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests to support CI/CD pipelines.

Minimum requirements are:

• Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; 4 years with AS/AA degree or 6 years in lieu of degree.
• Experience with using GitLab for CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps deployments.
• Experience with microservices virtualization and containerized deployments.
• Experience with in React Node Java.
• Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL database technologies.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
