Thompson Automotive is seeking a Lot Attendant. The Lot Attendant is responsible for managing the dealerships vehicle inventory ensuring the lot is organized and presentable and assisting the sales and service teams as needed. This role is crucial to the day-to-day operations of the dealership and requires a high degree of reliability attention to detail and physical stamina.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and park new and used vehicle inventory neatly and accurately on the display lot.
Manage vehicle flow including moving vehicles for test drives service appointments and deliveries.
Ensure all vehicles are properly tagged fueled and ready for customer viewing or sale.
Perform light maintenance tasks such as checking and topping off fluids (oil washer fluid).
Monitor vehicle battery levels and jump-start vehicles as necessary.
Run errands such as picking up parts or dropping off paperwork using company vehicles safely.
Assist the Service Department by shuttling customers and moving vehicles in the service drive.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot sidewalks and entry areas including snow removal or debris cleanup.
Transport vehicles between dealership locations or to off-site storage as required.
Follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
