Job Summary

The VP Enterprise Architecture & Quality Assurance is responsible for shaping and governing the future technology landscape of the company. This role ensures that technology investments and decisions are strategically aligned to business objectives scalable for growth and efficient in operation. As a member of the IT leadership team the VP of Enterprise Architecture & Quality Assurance will lead the development and execution of architectural principles roadmaps and governance models that guide how technology is selected integrated and evolved across the company. The role ensuring that business ambition and IT delivery are supported by a coherent modern and resilient technology architecture. This role is critical to reducing complexity managing technical risk enabling speed at scale and maximizing the value of IT investments.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enterprise Architecture: Establish an enterprise architecture practice in AutoStore. Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives. Lead the design and implementation of scalable and sustainable architectural solutions.
Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the lifecycle of projects ensuring they meet strategic goals. Develop and manage a project portfolio across IT.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain vendor relationships ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with procurement department to ensure standardized procurement process and optimized contracts across IT. Support CIO with development of sourcing strategy.
Quality Performance & Metrics: Implement and monitor quality assurance metrics ensuring continuous improvement in IT processes and outcomes. Develop performance indicators and reporting systems to track progress across IT.

Project management: Strong project management skills including experience with agile methodologies and change management.
