Come join us in our workshop in Rotterdam and become part of a team of experienced and hardworking the role of Junior Engineer you will play an important role in preparing simulator hardware and software as well as supporting the ongoing operation of our simulators used by maritime professionals worldwide. You dont need to be an expert yet we will train you. Learning our processes tools and way of working will be part of your onboarding.
Your customer-focused mindset and problem-solving attitude will help ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our simulation systems.What matters most to us is your curiosity technical mindset and willingness to learn. If you are looking for your first work experience we are also happy to welcome fresh graduates.
Your daily activities will include:
- Building and preparing simulation systems for deployment including hardware and software setup
- Providing technical support to international customers troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly
- Performing regular maintenance and updates to ensure simulators remain current and functional
- Working closely with internal teams including commercial development product management
- Travel to our customers sight to make sure their set up is up to our standards
Is this you
You have:
- A good understanding of IT fundamentals (networking operating systems troubleshooting)
- Good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- A flexible attitude and a drive to make things work
- Strong learning ability active and careful
- A Dutch working permit
You are:
- A problem solver who would rather be busy than to sit still
- Based in the Rotterdam area
- Happy to work from our office in Rotterdam
- Looking forward to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Excited to learn from an experienced and international team
