Position Responsibilities:
Design and implement robust and scalable back-end systems tailored to the insurance industrys specific needs ensuring they support complex business logic and regulatory compliance.
Develop optimize and maintain Oracle Databases to efficiently handle large volumes of data. Ensure data integrity security and performance through advanced SQL & PLSQL scripting and database tuning.
Write and maintain high-quality SQL PLSQL & Java code for server-side applications ensuring seamless integration with front-end components and third-party systems used in insurance operations.
Develop and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports as well as Jasper Reports to generate accurate and timely business reports. Customize reporting solutions to meet the dynamic needs of insurance stakeholders.
Conduct performance analysis and implement improvements to ensure applications are efficient responsive and capable of handling peak loads typical in insurance transactions.
Implement industry-standard security practices to safeguard sensitive insurance data. Ensure all systems comply with regulatory requirements such as those related to data protection and privacy.
Proactively analyze and resolve production issues minimizing downtime and maintaining business continuity in critical insurance processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including project managers products team actuaries underwriters and claims processors to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Required Qualifications:
10 years of experience in Oracle database PLSQL java and jasper report.
3 year working as senior back end developer.
Experience in leading project consist of small team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge in life insurance business.
Experience in building application with oracle form & report.
Knowledge in Java Vaadin.
