This role is part of Alcons newly established Europe Surgical Medical Retina team created following the acquisition of Valeda. The teams mission is to expand access for retina patients and enhance customer satisfaction among eye care professionalshelping people see brilliantly.. The Sr. Associate Surgical Field Sales is primarily responsible for achieving sales targets by selling surgical ophthalmic products within the assigned territory (north of Spain). You will build strong relationships with customers address their needs and ensure satisfaction through product demonstrations and support while based in this role a typical day will include:

Achieve sales targets for specific accounts or territories
Promote and sell Alcon products through various sales activities
Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and high-volume users
Discover and develop new business opportunities
Execute a sales plan and strategy
Frequently visit customers and provide necessary support
Participate in and conduct events and meetings to update customers on products services and prices
Create and maintain a customer database
Conduct competitive market analysis to maintain Alcons product market share and react to competition
Provide timely reports and ensure accurate documentation of sales activities and customer interactions according to company needs

WE ARE SEEKING:

  • Bachelors degree in a Commercial or Scientific discipline

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ophthalmic sales

  • Strong market knowledge and understanding of ophthalmology

  • Ideally experience or knowledge in retina

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships with doctors and support business growth
