HPM & DXR Field Service Engineer - ARG

Job Description

As a field service engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of Philips Healthcare equipment focusing particularly on hospital patient monitoring systems and X-ray equipment. You will mainly work in Buenos Aires but you may also travel occasionally to other cities in Argentina.

Your role:

Perform service activities including periodic preventive maintenance corrective maintenance fault detection upgrades and installations in accordance with Philips quality standards.

Ensure the integrity of service reports paying particular attention to test and inspection results.

Submit service reports worksheets and other administrative tasks accurately and on time.

Act as a liaison between Philips and customers handling administrative and technical issues.

Use measurement tools and/or equipment (electronic and analogue) appropriately.

Identify business opportunities that contribute to customer satisfaction and better business for Philips.

Carry out tasks in the Federal Capital and the rest of Argentina.

Youre the right fit if:

Academic training in biomedical/electronic/systems engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in the field preferably in a hospital environment (clinics and/or hospitals). Experience in clinical engineering or bioengineering services in clinics and hospitals will be valued.

Ability to maintain relationships with customers and understand their needs.

Service-oriented with a methodical approach to problem solving. Teamwork

Computer skills will be valued basic knowledge of networks HL7 HIS server configurations VPN and Virtual LAN management.

Be available to travel within and outside the country.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
