Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Construction Project Managerto lead new construction (out-of-ground) projects from conception through completion and manage tenant improvement projects. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of project execution from design review and budgeting to field coordination and quality control.
This position is ideal for a results-driven leader with deep knowledge of construction processes and a hands-on approach to managing budgets schedules teams and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Construction Design Review:Collaborate with architects engineers and stakeholders to ensure designs align with project goals feasibility and budget.
- Estimating & Budgeting:Develop accurate project cost estimates and detailed budgets to support financial planning and reporting.
- Preparing Contracts:Draft review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors vendors and consultants to secure favorable terms.
- Scheduling:Create and maintain detailed project schedules identifying critical paths and adjusting timelines as needed.
- Cost Control:Monitor expenses approve change orders and implement cost-saving measures to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Quality Control:Enforce high-quality standards and specifications throughout all project phases performing regular inspections and reviews.
- Safety Management:Promote and maintain job site safety by enforcing compliance with OSHA regulations and internal protocols.
- Field Coordination & Supervision:Manage day-to-day field operations coordinate subcontractors resolve conflicts and ensure timely project delivery.
- New Construction (Out of Ground):Oversee large-scale ground-up construction projects from site preparation to final turnover.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 710 years of progressive experience in construction project management specifically in ground-up projects
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore MS Project)
- Excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
