The Office of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) champions the rights of our communitys most vulnerable children. We equip passionate volunteer advocates with the training and support they need to be powerful voices for abused neglected and abandoned children in the juvenile dependency court system. Our mission and vision are simple but profound: ensure every child has a dedicated advocate and a path to a safe permanent home.
In March 2025 the Office of the CASA opened the CASA Wonder Room and Connections Center. The Wonder Room (video) is a special space created for Family Time visits between parents and children involved in dependency cases. It features state-of-the-art Snoezelen sensory equipment designed to create a calming trauma-informed environment where families can connect and strengthen their bonds.
About This Role:
The Office of the CASA is hiring one (1) Temporary Office Assistant II to assist with Wonder Room operations. This temporary position will be full-time with benefits and will work for up to six months.
As our Office Assistant II your primary function will be supporting Wonder Room operations. Youll serve as the vital connection between visitation providers caseworkers families and the Wonder Roomensuring this special space runs smoothly through scheduling coordination facility maintenance and administrative support.
Your physical presence is essential for Wonder Room operations. As the connector between visitation providers caseworkers families and the Wonder Room this role is central to daily operations. This position is exclusively office-based without telework options.

Schedule:
Hours vary based on team and staffing needs. Anticipated shift hours are approximately 10:30 AM 7:30 PM (Monday Thursday) and 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Friday) with advance notice of schedule adjustments as needed.
