As a Purchasing Assistant you will play a critical role in supporting our procurement processes ensuring that we secure the best products and services for our customers. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional travel experiences. We offer a competitive salary range of $124000 - $135000 annually along with a supportive team environment that encourages professional growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement of travel-related products and services
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support the development of procurement strategies
- Collaborate with the finance team to process purchase orders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to support project needs
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with procurement software is a plus
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate purchasing options
