Overview
The Administrative Coordinator coordinates activities in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Services (DPLM) to assure timely completion of all administrative duties. Train administrative staff and is responsible for assuring efficient operation through planning organizing and leading support personnel.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates activities in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Services (DPLM) to assure timely completion of all administrative duties.
- Oversight of all Epic Surgical External Cytology and Autopsy reports and subsequent maintenance of records and timely turn-around-time of all case reports and professional correspondences.
- Acts as administrative resource for the medical professional directors of the as a resource for office software and information systems including Purchasing/Accounting functions.
- Developmental and Behavioral Sciences resource for high-level administrative skills.
Qualifications
- High School diploma plus 3-5 years of experience. Previous experience as an administrative assistant or office manager is required.
- Professional knowledge in the area of responsibility is essential to job performance.
- Job requires demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete several projects/tasks simultaneously.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $20.66/hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
