The post holder would need to be a qualified occupational therapist and registered with Health and Care Professions Council(HCPC) They would need to have a broad knowledge of occupational therapy practice and legislations as well as work alongside and support various professionals to identify appropriate solutions to enable independent living providing clinical supervision within the team and lower grades where appropriate utilising specialist knowledge for appropriate interventions needs and riskassessments care planning and safeguardingin line with HaveringSafeguarding Adults policy and procedures and relevant legislation.
The post holder wouldwill use a range of skills such as strengths basedand multi-agency interventions to bring about positive change throughdeveloping effective relationships and to secure the best outcomesand interventions for serviceusers and carers.
