Job Summary
Location: Geraldton Port
Roster: On-Call
Hourly Rate: $67.98 per hour Superannuation
Type: Casual
We are looking for Front-End Loader Operators to join our Geraldton team on a casual basis. The role involves operating front-end wheel loaders to handle iron ore and other bulk commodities efficiently and safely.
This is a fast-paced production environment where maintaining high volume output is crucial. To succeed in this role youll need previous experience in a similar environment and be comfortable working at a consistent high production pace.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Familiarity with shed maintenance ore stockpile management and remote site work.
- Ability to perform under pressure and in varying environmental conditions.
- Comfortable working at a consistent high production pace
- Knowledge of and commitment to complying with Australian Federal Laws and Western Australia state laws and regulations.
- Good record-keeping which is essential for compliance purposes.
- Ability to carry out routine maintenance to mobile plant and report faults.
- Ability to follow strict workplace and safety procedures & have an ongoing commitment to safe work practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
This Casual position is open to residential candidates only. Applicants must reside in or near Geraldton.
Qualifications :
- Valid and current drivers licence
- Verification of competency (VOC) for Front-End Wheel Loader (FEL).
- Relevant VOCs for other machinery operations.
