Job Summary
Oaks Gold Coast Hotel and Oaks Gold Coast Calypso Plaza Suites are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Café Attendants to join our team on a casual basis.
Both properties are launching a new café experience for hotel guests to enjoy barista coffee and grab-and-go treats. This role is ideal for someone with café experience who enjoys creating a welcoming environment and serving high-quality food and beverages. Youll work alongside a barista to serve toasties croissants and hot and cold drinks to guests.
As a valued team member youll play a key role in creating enjoyable guest experiences by:
- Preparing and serving food & beverages: Toasties croissants and drinks efficiently and professionally.
- Assisting with cafe operations: Working alongside the barista to maintain a smooth and clean workflow.
- Delivering exceptional customer service: Engaging warmly with guests and responding to their needs.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- 5am until 2pm and 7am until 2pm subject to change
- Start date: Mid December must be available to work over Christmas and New years
- Multiple casual positions available
- On occasions you may be required to support both properties
- Dual role as a barista and café attendant
Qualifications :
To succeed in this role you will demonstrate:
- Prior experience in a café environment including barista skills is highly desirable
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presentation and strong communication skills
- Reliability and flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekends
