An assembler needs to follow FIFO guidelines when proceeding to their next order.
Read and understand the order correctly to start the assembly process (Top to bottom).
Start with the external assembly process.
Place Knob/lever on worktable
Attach plastic washers and grease needs to be added.
Place shims plates and springs. (Depending on requested item)
Test handle to ensure proper mechanism function (verify that installation is not too tight nor to lose) Team lead can assist trainee with an accurate feel of a correct tightness)
Add springs/spindles to the handle (make adjustments as needed)
Proceed with assembling the inside component (Repeat 1-10 instruction)
Trainees must complete Hour by Hour sheet with dates times and discrepancies throughout the process. (This is to see how many locks the trainee completed in that hour includes trainee stepping away from the dept.)

Department cleanliness:
1. Maintain a clean workstation throughout entire shift.
