Chef De Partie Term Time 35 weeks per year! 40 hours per week

We are seeking Chef De Partie to join our culinary team in Scarborough United Kingdom. This is a term-time position working 40 hours per week. 

• Prepare cook and present high-quality dishes within your designated section
• Assist in menu planning and development of new recipes
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations and health and safety standards
• Manage and organise your designated section of the kitchen
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
• Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef as required
• Contribute to stock management and ordering processes
• Adapt menus to accommodate dietary requirements and allergens

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in a culinary role
• Valid food hygiene knowledge 
• Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation processes
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a kitchen setting
• Flexibility to work during term time including evenings and weekends as required
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
• Passion for creating high-quality delicious meals
