What does it mean to be a Process Expert Manager within the Food & Ingredients BU
Reporting to the BU Director you will coordinate the activities of the Process Expert department while ensuring continuous improvement of technical expertise within the entity. You will manage a team of 4 people.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Support all project managers with expert technical solutions during design technical offer and sales phases through your technological expertise
- Provide reporting to the Offers department on the workload of the Process Expert team and guide them on integrating process expert solutions into projects
- Review and technically validate expert solutions during design and execution reviews performing technical risk analysis at every stage including automation
- Monitor physical progress against budgeted hours and report to project managers
- Integrate lessons learned from each technology into a process for standardizing technological solutions
- Lead technical training for the team to maintain and enhance expertise within the department
- Provide support during commissioning of process expert solutions alongside commissioning and automation teams
- Manage workload for technicians in the Expert department coordinate activities based on needs and constraints assist with work organization and validate their output
- Lead and support team development
- Ensure performance of department activities and team compliance with the Boccard Management System (BMS)
- Guarantee quality safety and security for the entire project and stakeholders
- Supervise and manage project managers and technicians
- Allocate resources required for project costing or execution
- Ensure sustainability of expertise within the department
Qualifications :
You hold an engineering degree and have significant experience in chemical engineering or process engineering.
You have strong expertise in boiler-making and stainless steel construction along with excellent knowledge of one or more technologies used in food processing.
Having already managed a department or a team you are recognized for your organizational skills interpersonal ease and ability to coordinate across functions.
Your natural qualities teaching ability precision and rigor are key assets for success in this role.
