What does it mean to be an Expeditor Supply Chain Monitoring (M/F) for Boccards nuclear projects
In this role you will be part of the purchasing team at our Villeurbanne site working closely with the project teams. The purchasing team comprises 10 professionals dedicated to purchase activities.
Your mission will be to ensure and coordinate all shipments for Boccards nuclear projects in France in strict compliance with nuclear safety culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supply Chain Monitoring & Supplier/Procurement Management
- Implement monitoring tools to control the supply chain
- Track manufacturing stages collection and delivery
- Monitor procurement according to project schedules
- Verify physical and documentary availability of materials
- Follow up with suppliers and raise awareness of project requirements
- Lead weekly site procurement meetings
Project Purchasing Support & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Analyse contractual schedules and develop supplier monitoring plans
- Organise and lead kick-off meetings (internal and subcontractors)
- Monitor progress (deliveries documentation) and compliance with milestones
- Set up subcontractor approvals and monitor bank guarantees
- Support the application of contractual tools (penalties bonuses alerts)
Site Logistics & Transport
- Coordinate delivery flows to site
- Select and optimise transport providers (cost deadlines routing)
- Supervise administrative formalities: PVRU shipping authorisations
- Manage customs clearance and international logistics
Reporting Support & Dispute Management
- Actively participate in project meetings (including risk management tools)
- Handle disputes (suppliers accounting carriers)
- Regularly update monitoring tools (approvals guarantees expediting orders)
- Provide support to the Contract Manager and Buyer on cross-functional topics.
Qualifications :
You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in a field related to supply chain purchasing or procurement management.
You bring solid knowledge of technical purchasing within the industrial sector (such as pumps valves rotating machinery steel structures etc.).
You also have at least two years experience in an industrial environment ideally in nuclear heavy industry naval or oil & gas.
Familiarity with ISO 19443 would be a real advantage for major nuclear projects along with knowledge of RCCM and ASME codes.
Being able to speak english is essential for this role it will be used occasionally when liaising with suppliers.
You are confident using office tools particularly Excel (pivot tables formulas).
Your proactive approach and adaptability will be key to your success in this position.
