Job Summary
This position will report to the Clinical Services Manager Professional Practitioner.
Accountabilities:
- Assessment and management of dysphagia using clinical and instrumental assessment
- Communication and screening/assessment and management
- Providing education resources and referral to patients and families in a clear and accessible manner
- Completing assessments and relays findings to patients families and inter-professional teams in a timely manner to facilitate access and flow
- Participating as part of the speech-language pathology team attending meetings and education sessions where required
Qualifications :
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy; experience with Meditech an asset
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time in a fast paced medical environment
- Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
- Experience with videofluoroscopy an asset
- Experience with tracheostomies an asset

- Excellent attendance punctuality and work record required
- May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
Additional Information :
Hours: Currently days/evenings including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary:
Minimum: $44.69 hourly
Maximum: $57.93 hourly
