Job Summary

Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager provides leadership and direction for the maintenance department to ensure maximum equipment uptime reliability and safety. This role oversees the preventive predictive and corrective maintenance of all facility assets while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. The Maintenance Manager ensures maintenance strategies align with production goals and supports the organizations commitment to safety quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the maintenance team in achieving operational reliability efficiency and continuous improvement goals.
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.
Oversee installation repair and upkeep of machinery equipment and facilities.
Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order scheduling asset tracking and performance reporting.
Establish maintenance KPIs and analyze data to identify trends optimize resources and improve machine uptime.
Oversee maintenance budgeting including capital expenditures and MRO (Maintenance Repair & Operations) inventory.
Ensure safety and environmental compliance within all maintenance operations.
Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with production engineering and quality teams.
Manage vendor relationships including contractors and equipment suppliers.
Train and develop maintenance staff to enhance technical capabilities and team performance.
Conduct performance reviews set goals and foster a culture of accountability and safety.

Qualifications
Associate or Bachelors degree in Engineering Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
510 years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience implementing and managing a CMMS or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program.
Proven ability to manage budgets prioritize work and allocate resources effectively.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and root cause analysis.
Excellent problem-solving leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance-related software systems.
Preferred: Professional certifications such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or Journeyman Electrician License.

Working Environment
The position operates primarily in a manufacturing plant setting. The role requires frequent walking standing and hands-on engagement with production and maintenance teams. Exposure to noise machinery and temperature fluctuations is common. Basic personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.

Equipment uptime and reliability.
Preventive maintenance compliance rate.
Mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR).
Maintenance cost as a percentage of replacement asset value (RAV).
Safety and environmental compliance performance.
