Description

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Assists the Grocery Manager with the successful operation of the department
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the department
• Receives stores and stocks a wide variety of products
• Orders product to meet the needs of the grocery departments based on past and projected sales
• Pulls out of date product from the shelves
• Ensures company standards for safety sanitation and productivity are maintained
• Teaches mentors and educates associates to help them be successful members of the team
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Department Manager and/or Store Manager
• Consistent and daily interaction with store associates customers and vendors

• Store : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge : Basic computer skills
• Special Skills : Ability to read write and perform basic math functions
• Physical abilities: : Requires standing walking and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to; Regularly required to grasp push pull carry stoop twist crouch and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries

• 0-2 : 1-2 years prior grocery operations or retail experience preferred
