A Brief OverviewCoordinates patient care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process.
What you will do
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessing planning implementing and evaluating all nursing care provided within the Cardiac and Pulmonary rehab settings.
- Demonstrates knowledge of exercise principles and development of an appropriate exercise/rehab plan based on cardiac and pulmonary rehab patient evaluation and assessment. Performs ongoing evaluations of patients compliance and response to therapy and adjusts plan of care accordingly.
- Initiates provides or delegates patient/family teaching at a level of expertise and documents appropriately noting the recipients participation and response including pre-procedure calling and education.
- Acts as a patient/family advocate and intervenes if necessary to ensure that patient care is not compromised.
- Participates in planning scheduling and coordinating patient care.

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others hear understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
Preferred Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- Minimum 6 months critical care
