The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be required regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Purpose: The Manager Medical Excellence and Innovation will be responsible for executing and managing the day-to-day tactical activities within DePuy Synthes Medical & Scientific Affairs. This role will ensure the seamless implementation of strategic initiatives drive operational efficiency and support cross-functional collaborations to advance medical excellence and innovation.

You will:

Operational Execution

• Develop and deploy templates for medica strategy for new products including strategic imperatives and impact goals for the medical communicational strategy.
• Support development of the Product Core Narrative
• Coordinate and support medical onboarding and training activities for MSLs.
• Support the execution of the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) strategy including planning and engagement with external experts.
• Support development of content for MSLs Scientific Exchange.

Data & Metrics

• Collect analyze and report on key metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of medical activities.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for leadership review.

Technology & Tools

• Assist in the implementation and management of IT systems and digital tools supporting medical activities.
• Help maintain channels and platforms like Orthopaedics University for knowledge sharing.

Compliance & Best Practices

• Develop and maintain SOPs and Guidelines applicable for MSL function
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory legal and company policies.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of best practices and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required; advanced degree (MS MBA) preferred.
• 5 years of experience in medical affairs project management or related roles within MedTech or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with medical affairs processes MSL activities and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in digital tools and data management systems.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$117000-$200000
