NSW Resources are looking for a Project Officer to join the team in the Office of the Deputy Secretary.

About the Role

Working in this role you will be responsible for providing secretariat services for internal and external stakeholder forums coordinating information flows across NSW Resources supporting governance and business planning activities and delivering high-level support to the Deputy Secretary on priority projects.

About You

To be successful in this role youll need to have experience in project management and executive support.

Youll also need to have:

  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously provide a range of project management services
  • Strong written and communication skills and experience in providing secretariat support
  • Expertise co-ordinating and responding to executive correspondence
  • Experience evaluating operational policy and procedures to determine the need for corrective action and review
  • Proven ability to undertake research and analysis to help understand issues and identify trends

This is a targeted role under GSE Rule 26 and Aboriginal people are encouraged to apply.
