Mobile Crisis Response Clinician

We are seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician

We are seeking applicants for a full-time Mobile Crisis Response Clinician. The Mobile Crisis Response Clinician provides intervention services as a member of a community-based crisis response team serving clients and families in Kent County. The person in this role will complete psycho-social risk assessments in crisis situations provides crisis intervention services and coordinates services with police courts schools and other community agencies.

This position is 40 hours a week working first shift 8:00am to 6:00pm and mid-shift shift 10:00am to 8:00pm on a four-week rotating schedule. The individual in this position will work one weekend a month (7a-5p) and have holiday requirements. There are no on-call duties. This assignment is in-person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids Michigan 49503.



MINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS

  • Masters degree in social work or psychology Counseling or Counseling Psychology.
  • Limited or full licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker professional counselor marriage and family therapist or psychologist; OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three (3) months of hire.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological emotional and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
  • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
  • Computer skills including word processing spreadsheets email database management and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.
  • Available for on-call services 24 hours a day 7 days a week (on a rotating basis).
  • For Network180 Mobile Crisis Response Clinician positions: Possession of a valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
  • For GRPD Co-response and 911 Crisis Call Diversion positions: Complete and successfully pass an extensive and thorough law enforcement background investigation and interview.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Full Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker professional counselor marriage and family therapist or psychologist.
  • One year of experience in community-based crisis intervention.
  • Specialized training and at least one year of experience in the examination evaluation and treatment of minors and their families.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Credentialed through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals.
  • Three years of post-graduate experience.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
