Our expert team includes highly trained board-certified surgeons and anesthesiologists supported by a dedicated staff of registered nurses and other medical playing a vital role in ensuring your safety comfort and care throughout your surgical experience.
Our teams expertise spans general surgery and a wide range of surgical subspecialties including trauma surgery gynecologic surgery neurosurgery vascular surgery and orthopedic surgery. Whether patients require elective procedures or emergency interventions they benefit from the most advanced surgical techniques availableperformed in our state-of-the-art facilities equipped with leading-edge technology.

- Vacation: 5.5 weeks
- Schedule: In hospital 12 hr/shifts 13shifts/mth
- Practice at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital Level II Trauma Center with 358 licensed beds
- Dedicated team of 5 acute care surgeons 11 general surgeons total
- ACS members - 80% bread and butter 20% Trauma (90% of Trauma is blunt 10% penetrating)

Required Qualifications
- Completion of medical degree and residency training in an general surgery.
- MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physicians primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
