JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Application Engineer based in our Strasbourg office you will be responsible for serving our French and Western European customers through customization integration and testing. You will join a highly collaborative and competent team where youll have the opportunity to work with various aspects of systems engineering safety hardware and software development in an exciting startup setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage integration and deployment projects in close collaboration with customers
- Implement interface and customized software to integrate our product into our customers
- Implement and field-test application-specific features for autonomous train control including localization mapping obstacle detection and collision avoidance.
- Define and execute system validation and tests (bench and field) all the way to customer acceptance.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to set up successful demos and technical proposals to sign future customers. Spot and support opportunities for up-sales and new projects at existing customers
- Proactively identify and resolve challenges to drive growth and enhance the success of both the team and the company.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 10 years of proven work experience in developing code and managing software and hardware projects.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Experience in embedded software C/C Python and software engineering processes and tools.
- Understanding of different perception sensors like LiDAR camera and radar as well as computers
- Experience in robotics autonomous vehicles or the rail environment is a big plus.
- Openness to learning pragmatism ambition and fun to work with.
