Job Summary

Designation: System Engineer

JD:

Bachelors Degree 2 to 5 years work experience in one or more programming languages/frameworks/products

Must have worked in projects adopting Iterative/Agile/Water fall methodologies and must be proficient with its practices.
The Systems Engineer 2 is responsible for the planning designing acquisition maintenance and implementation of applications infrastructure system integration and solutions utilizing vendor relationships and internal IT and business partners with guidance and direction only on the most complex situations. This person ensures the solutions employed across the organization support the needs of evolving business by effectively understanding the changing technology. This individual also provides oversight and assistance across project design and delivery ongoing administration including monitoring maintenance troubleshooting and ensuring availability and reliability across multiple providers and services.

Essential Job Functions

Technical Knowledge - Expectation is to be proficient in one or more of the following areas (e.g. Windows Desktop SCCM VMware ESXi virtualization Windows Server Operating Systems Server hardware platforms in an enterprise environment preferably Basic skills Cloud Computing (Azure / AWS) Networking (Data) Infrastructure Automation VDI/VMware Horizon) and implement or manage/maintain at least two platform.
Documentation - Creates reviews and maintains documentation of deployments systems and procedures relating to job/team responsibilities. Produces documentation as requested for internal customers audits and compliance purposes. Participates in the approval process. Reports and presents quarterly capacity analyses of licensing equipment and utilization. Establishes and meets critical deadlines while prioritize multiple activities and complex projects simultaneously. Demonstrates leadership by driving projects to meet milestone dates utilizing critical thinking skills to help analyze business problems and recommending solutions and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve problems and gaining consensus on the best solution. Influences change prioritizes efforts on critical initiatives and works to identify find solutions to opportunities.
