Title: Apex Developer

Contract: 90 days contract-to-hire

Location: Hybrid 2-3 days/week in Austin TX/ King of Prussia PA/ Philadelphia PA/ NYC NY or remote candidates in TX GA NJ or nearby regions

Overview

• Manage Salesforce Apex development including new features maintenance and troubleshooting in Service Cloud.
• Support and enhance existing MuleSoft integrations - deploying and monitoring flows handling production and sandbox deployments and resolving issues quickly.
• Assist in moving projects to production and addressing any backlogged or stalled work.
• Refactor and optimize validation rules to UI-based logic for improved user experience and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) REST APIs and efficient bulkified Apex code.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines DevOps tooling and code quality standards are maintained.
• Partner closely with existing staff and leadership to keep systems stable and meet tight delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer (Apex LWC SOQL REST APIs).
• Proficiency in Mule Soft - ability to deploy monitor and troubleshoot flows (4 integrations currently in place).
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II strongly preferred.
• Experience building and deploying REST APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines DevOps tooling and AI-assisted code tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Service Cloud and UI-based validation logic.
• Ability to work independently problem-solve under pressure and handle both backend and integration tasks.
• Excellent communication skills; able to work closely with cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Description:

What Will You Be Doing

• Engage with project solution architect and technical team to understand solution integration requirements and design the required integration framework
• Define design develop test and deploy the interfaces on Salesforce solutions
• Define the integration test plan and test cases and testing of integrations
• Define and setup the required environments and coordinate with other applications project team to setup the required integrated environments for development and testing of interfaces
• Design and develop robust interfaces with recommended best practices security standards scalability needs high performance requirements and available Salesforce resources / limits
• Design and develop data load processes point-to-point interfaces or integrations through middleware platforms such as Mulesoft as per project requirement
• Define the guidelines and best practices for Salesforce interface design development and reviews
• Participate and support in design and development of pre-built solutions and processes
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of Salesforce integration technologies / solutions.
• Conduct integration workshops / sessions for internal and external teams to share knowledge

Requirements - The Necessities

• 2-3 years of integration experience within Salesforce
• Proficient in Apex SOQL SOSL and Salesforce automation tools (Flows Triggers Platform Events).
• Solid technical knowledge of Salesforce integration products and solutions Mulesoft and Salesforce DX
• Experience of architecting robust highly scalable Salesforce integration solutions integrated with other enterprise solutions like Mulesoft ERP HCM Middleware Data warehousing BI/AI
• 5 years hands-on project delivery experience of at least large end-to-end project implementations for enterprise customers
• Proficient in Apex SOQL SOSL and Salesforce automation tools (Flows Triggers Platform Events).
• Experienced in bulk processing governor limit optimization and handling large data volumes.
• Skilled in designing and implementing integrations with MuleSoft leveraging APIs transformations and orchestration.
• Experienced at building scalable reusable components for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines version control and automated deployment processes.
• Skilled at troubleshooting debugging and performance tuning in both Salesforce and MuleSoft environments.
